I moved to Copenhagen in 2017 to take a Masters Degree in Performance at the Rhythmic Music Conservatorium (DK).
I wanted to put all my previous choices to the test, to question everything. This was a moment of destruction and re-construction of my artistic vision and of my relationship with music and my instrument.
”ENTER THE sQUIGG” (out Clean Feed Records March 2022) is my first statement having gone through that process.
This trio, with Simon Albertsen on Drums and Luca Curcio on Bass, was the playground where a lot of my new ideas got developed.

Here’s my big band arrangement of my tune “Le TunKa” (“BounceLab“ 2014) performed by me as a soloist with the great “Orquestra de Jazz de Matosinhos”.
I love the interaction that happened during my solo and I’m very grateful for the invitation to do this concert.
